I sent the box for male items to a fellow model and professional blogger LARS FOULSBANE....lol he hates it when I capitalizes his name so its Lars Foulsbane. So you guys out there check out Lars' Blog at http://fashionandstylesl.blogspot.com/ to see FIERCE DESIGNS FOR MEN.

If you are in the same dilemma as mine then u better teleport to FIERCE and get away that stress.FIERCE ISLAND 59/158/29

Halloween is another time of the year when children and adults get to wear costumes not only spooky ones but other costumes like the ones you see in a children's book or a famous fairy tale. Join me in opening this gift box from FIERCE.

My Lecture at Model's Workshop About In Store Modeling (10-18-2010)

It is an honor to be invited in one of the largest Fashion Group. Eventhough I am scheduled to lecture on the 25th, Me, Dolce and Bearly managed to pull it out. My connection wasnt so good since we have a supertyphoon Megi(International name)/Juan(local name) so i experienced a chat log. There was one question thrown at me by Heydon which I fail to answer. I only knew she asked question when I read the scripts. I am attaching the chat log here for everyone. Enjoy Reading
[18:02] Monica Balut: Like we talked about last week, tonight's workshop will focus on store modeling.
[18:02] Cari Teardrop: Hello everyone ㋡
[18:02] Caffinelover Selona: Hi Seree
[18:02] Edna Wilkinson: hello everyone :)
[18:02] Monica Balut: I have to apologize. There was a bit of a miscommuniction about this. At the last minute last week we decided to let Perla go next week and put this workshop for this week. Dolce wasn't here so I confirmed with her verbally.
[18:02] Monica Balut: Later, she asked me who was helping and I quickly sent her my notes from last week. Unfortunately, I had not changed the dates, so Dolce went the whole week thinking she had another week.
[18:02] Monica Balut: She tried to pull something together in about an hour. If it ends up being not as organized as possible, you can blame me.
[18:02] Monica Balut: But i'm sure there are many here who have a lot to add on this topic so in typical Model's Workshop fashion, we can help each other out.
[18:02] Monica Balut: I can't be much of a help. As i said last week, I've never, ever, done store modeling. It' not that i don't think it's important. It just doesn't fit my personality. I just can't stand around doing nothing for that long. LOL
[18:03] Monica Balut: So I'll turn this over to Dolce & company and get out of the way.
[18:03] Chickie Ashbourne: (((((((APPLAUSE)))))))
[18:03] Garrett Ceriano: Hello Risa
[18:03] Caffinelover Selona: love that shirt Monica edit to see where you got it from
[18:03] Pepper Aura: APPLAUSE!!!!
[18:03] Risa Bright: Hi Garrett
[18:03] Xenobia Foxclaw: \o/APPLAUSE\o/
[18:03] Monica Balut: I gues that's Dolce, Bearly & Docseree
[18:03] Perla Rae: Sorry guys
[18:03] Caffinelover Selona: APPLAUSE!!!
[18:03] Caffinelover Selona: Applause!!

[18:04] Docseree Mistwalker: Thank you Monica
[18:04] Dolce Enderfield: Good evening everyone!
[18:04] Perla Rae: next week i will do lashes :-)
[18:04] Dolce Enderfield: It's great to see you all here, as usual, at another fabulous Models Workshop.
[18:04] Perla Rae: yayyyyyy
[18:04] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Thank you Monica and all :}
[18:04] Mia McFarland: Hello everyone:)
[18:05] Dolce Enderfield: Tonight we are going to be discussing store modeling, which is one of the more popular modeling opportunities in SL.
[18:05] Heydon Milter: Hi Mia
[18:05] Gabe Bookmite: hello
[18:05] Dolce Enderfield: Allow me to introduce, first though, my two partners in crime for the night...Bearlyhere Quandry...
[18:06] Xenobia Foxclaw: \o/APPLAUSE\o/

[18:15] Docseree Mistwalker: I in stored model for REILA SKINS
[18:15] Docseree Mistwalker: what is In store modeling then?
[18:15] Docseree Mistwalker shouts: what is In store modeling then?
[18:16] Gabe Bookmite: Modeling in a store as a leaving breathing dolly?
[18:16] Docseree Mistwalker: In store Modeling entails modeling for a designer line inside their store
[18:16] Docseree Mistwalker: right gabe
[18:16] Docseree Mistwalker: just like live modeling
[18:17] Docseree Mistwalker: but live models are expected to be not AFK
[18:17] Docseree Mistwalker: so when but if your boss is flexible it can be allowed
[18:18] Docseree Mistwalker: the payment depends
[18:18] Docseree Mistwalker: some have a time clock
[18:18] Docseree Mistwalker: others pays by clothing
[18:18] Docseree Mistwalker: Reila Skins does both
[18:18] Caffinelover Selona: some pay both
[18:19] Docseree Mistwalker: DMG creations does both too
[18:19] Docseree Mistwalker: well you can ask Perla :)
[18:19] Docseree Mistwalker: shes one of my best in store model
[18:20] Caffinelover Selona: Applause!!
[18:20] Docseree Mistwalker: she has to leave though to pursue other endeavors
[18:21] Docseree Mistwalker: currently I have 5 Live male models and several runway models that works in store and get paid by the hour
[18:21] Perla Rae: oohhh TY
[18:21] Perla Rae: I Love modeling in Seree's store
[18:21] Perla Rae: I did not just stand around though
[18:21] Docseree Mistwalker: :)
[18:21] Perla Rae: i talked to the customers
[18:21] Monica Balut: What do in store models usually get paid?
[18:21] Perla Rae: and assistend them any way i could
[18:22] Docseree Mistwalker: a lot here have joined JCNY and Beningborough
[18:22] Docseree Mistwalker: it can be considered as instore modeling with a twist
[18:22] Perla Rae: I got a ton of Clothes from Seree and got paid
[18:22] Dolce Enderfield: Pay range can vary from L$10 an hour on up.
[18:22] Dolce Enderfield shouts: Pay range can vary from L$10 an hour on up.
[18:22] Perla Rae: sot it was a bonus
[18:23] Docseree Mistwalker: bec you have to join a contest before u get hired to model
[18:23] Caffinelover Selona: Jcny i think it was 20L or something like that hour but you can work up to as much as you want during the week
[18:23] Perla Rae: i met lots of people and made contactss..i did not just stand on a pose stand...i walked around and posed and talked too
[18:23] Docseree Mistwalker: same goes with DMG Creations
[18:23] Caffinelover Selona: some pay 45hr
[18:23] Docseree Mistwalker: no JCNY pays 10L/hr max of 12 hrs
[18:23] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Some pay by the hour and some by like 5 minutes.
[18:24] Docseree Mistwalker: Beningborough pays 20L/hr
[18:24] Docseree Mistwalker shouts: Beningborough pays 20L/hr
[18:24] Caffinelover Selona: oh well it has been a long time since i did jcny
[18:24] Perla Rae: With the amount of clothes that DMG gives each model it averages out to good pay..and you get paid per hour..i cant remember how much it was an hour
[18:24] Docseree Mistwalker: yes it depends on the timeclock setting
[18:24] Dolce Enderfield: MLC pays L$45 for regular and top models get...like L$80 or L$85.
[18:24] Bronze Restful: what other then the 20 a hour do u get, thats not much money
[18:24] Docseree Mistwalker: lindens and clothes Monica
[18:25] Docseree Mistwalker: yes it isnt much money
[18:25] JEZZIXA Cazalet: some of us do customer service from a poste stand too
[18:25] Docseree Mistwalker: but u cant get rich modeling we all know that :)
[18:25] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: It adds up though. LIke to think of it as mad money :}
[18:25] Caffinelover Selona: my spending money
[18:25] Docseree Mistwalker: Monica once said if u want to get rich venture on something
[18:26] Docseree Mistwalker: that u can call yours
[18:26] Docseree Mistwalker: il turn over the mic to Dolce
[18:26] Docseree Mistwalker shouts: il turn over the mic to Dolce
[18:26] Monica Balut: Or go to work in RL if you want real money
[18:26] Caffinelover Selona: nods
[18:26] Dolce Enderfield: Ack, everyone run now, I'm gonna talk. :P
[18:26] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: If your paid with clothes that is a plus. With the $L you earn.
[18:27] Dolce Enderfield: Alright, let's give it up for Seree!
[18:27] Heydon Milter: (¸.•*´ ♥ `*•.¸)`*•.¸ Applause ¸.•*(¸.•*´ ♥ `*•.¸)`
[18:27] Monica Balut: How many of the stores pay in clothes too?

[18:27] Docseree Mistwalker: thank you
[18:27] JEZZIXA Cazalet: All I have worked in
[18:28] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Let me introduce myself quickly :}
[18:28] Bearlyhere Quandry: 10 I'm Bearlyhere Quandry, you can call me Bear if your would like. I've worked as a pose stand model and Model Coordinator for Elle's Victorian Fashion.
[18:28] Docseree Mistwalker: DMG pays in clothes and lindens Reila store too but I guess Reila is closed for modeling already
[18:28] Docseree Mistwalker: sorry chat lag
[18:28] Dolce Enderfield: :)
[18:28] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: I'm Bearlyhere Quandry, you can call me Bear if your would like. I've worked as a pose stand model and Model Coordinator for Elle's Victorian Fashion.
[18:29] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Sorry
[18:29] Dolce Enderfield: Yeah, you should be! (no idea why though...)
[18:29] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: I work for Exclusiva at this time.
[18:29] Garrett Ceriano: oooo
[18:30] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: We make 40L per hour plus all new releases.
[18:31] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: At Elle's we could go AKF often.
[18:32] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: At Elculsiva no AFK
[18:32] Dolce Enderfield: Yay, thank you Bearly!
[18:32] Dolce Enderfield shouts: Yay, thank you Bearly!

[18:33] Heydon Milter: *#*#* Nice *#*#*
[18:33] Heydon Milter: *** @ <3 @ <3 @ <3 ***
[18:33] Docseree Mistwalker: APPLAUSE
[18:33] Dolce Enderfield: Alright, so most of you know me...
[18:33] Dolce Enderfield shouts: Alright, so most of you know me...
[18:33] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: My pleasure :}
[18:33] Dolce Enderfield: I'm Dolce Enderfield...CEO of DEJAVOGUE and also the general manager at Mohna Lisa Couture.
[18:34] Dolce Enderfield: Most of you also know I'm NOT normally a model...I just manage them and all that sort of fun stuff.
[18:34] Monica Balut: Is that like herding cats?
[18:34] Myown Destiny: :)
[18:34] Dolce Enderfield: I have modeled, as a mannequin in the past...last year, for Kastle Rock Couture, before the designer decided to not have models in the store (not sure if I want to boast about that.... o.O )
[18:35] Pepper Aura: hehehe
[18:35] Dolce Enderfield: Hahaha, well, because most of the people here tonight are models, I won't say yes or no to that, Monica.
[18:35] Dolce Enderfield: I want to live past today.
[18:35] Dolce Enderfield: So Seree talked to you a bit about being a store model and a few of the perks and rules...
[18:35] Dolce Enderfield shouts: So Seree talked to you a bit about being a store model and a few of the perks and rules...
[18:35] Docseree Mistwalker: :)
[18:36] Dolce Enderfield: Now I'll further elaborate on that.
[18:36] Dolce Enderfield: There are, in general, 3 types of store modeling positions.
[18:36] Dolce Enderfield: The first one, and the easiest one, in my opinion...and great for newer models wanting to get a feel of the atmosphere and such, is mannequin modeling.
[18:37] Dolce Enderfield: It's simple in the fact that you put on the clothes you are going to model, do some appropriate styling, and hop on a pose stand.
[18:37] Docseree Mistwalker: yeah sorry forgot to mention that I modeled as mannequin for Sizzle fashion poses... sorry i need to give Lorra Undercroft some credit:)
[18:38] Dolce Enderfield: Mannequins, as the term says, means you do not interact with the customers..
[18:38] Heydon Milter: ㋡
[18:38] Heydon Milter: I have too Seree.
[18:38] Monica Balut: Is that the type where you could go AFK?
[18:38] Bronze Restful: everyone seems to
[18:38] Dolce Enderfield: You are basically a doll there to model the clothes or jewelry...whatever it is you are there to model.
[18:38] Dolce Enderfield: It is also the job where you can yes, go AFK.
[18:38] Dolce Enderfield shouts: It is also the job where you can yes, go AFK.
[18:39] Docseree Mistwalker: true
[18:39] Monica Balut: mmm could do that while I'm sleeping
[18:39] Dolce Enderfield: A lot of people do that, Monica.
[18:39] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Many do or when they are at RL work.
[18:39] Bronze Restful: anyone can just sit on a pose and walk away
[18:39] Monica Balut: Interesting
[18:40] Docseree Mistwalker: or sleep in store and earn
[18:40] Dolce Enderfield: Depending on where you work, mannequin modeling generally pays less than live modeling, because of the simplicity and also no work involved.
[18:40] Monica Balut: Good way to earn some easy money
[18:40] Caffinelover Selona: not were i do it at, because a blue box pops up for you to push the colors
[18:40] Dolce Enderfield: The next and more popular type of store modeling is Live Modeling.
[18:40] Caffinelover Selona: so you can't be AFK for long
[18:40] Heydon Milter: just dont get caught
[18:40] Dolce Enderfield: Live modeling means you generally prepare for it the same as being a mannequin, but you do not go afk and you do interact with the guests in the store.
[18:41] Dolce Enderfield: Your duties as a live model can be as simple as greeting guests when they enter the store...and that's it...to full blown customer service as well.
[18:41] Docseree Mistwalker: nods
[18:42] Dolce Enderfield: If you are interested in being a live model, I personally recommend being proficient not only in modeling, but also customer service...have good people skills.
[18:42] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Caffine just depends on what the store owners want from their models.
[18:42] Docseree Mistwalker: yes you have to know where the stuffs are and the new releases
[18:42] Maureen Gabardini: sorry guys gotta go...business
[18:42] Docseree Mistwalker: memorize them
[18:42] Maureen Gabardini: Bye all
[18:43] Docseree Mistwalker: bye Mau
[18:43] Monica Balut: So here, you have to know your product
[18:43] Dolce Enderfield: You also need to be on top of your 'game'....making sure you are greeting every single person that walks in. Depending on where you work, your boss may be picky about little details or not.
[18:43] Dolce Enderfield: Yes...
[18:43] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Bye Mau
[18:43] Dolce Enderfield: Now, I'll kind of do an overview of what I do with my models at MLC and stuff before we open the floor for questions...
[18:44] Dolce Enderfield: Mohna is very picky about her models and their looks, as any designer really should be.
[18:44] Dolce Enderfield shouts: Mohna is very picky about her models and their looks, as any designer really should be.
[18:44] Docseree Mistwalker: true
[18:44] Dolce Enderfield: It is up to me to hire, train and fire models as I see fit.
[18:44] Dolce Enderfield: Typically, when I bring on a "new" model to MLC....
[18:45] Dolce Enderfield: I give them a thorough orientation.
[18:45] Dolce Enderfield: I run them through operating the time clock, knowing where my pager is...showing them the best sellers in the store...how to sync the model bots...how to use the stands...and general rules/expectations.
[18:46] Dolce Enderfield: They all can work up to 10 hours a week each.
[18:46] Dolce Enderfield: In 2 hour shifts a day.
[18:47] Dolce Enderfield: Models at MLC get paid L$45 starting out and depending on their time each week, they get one or two of the latest releases.
[18:47] Dolce Enderfield: We're also working on giving out a free outfit each month.
[18:47] Dolce Enderfield: We also have top models...and those are the ones that have worked at MLC for a minimum of 3 months and have proven to be reliable, good with customers, etc.
[18:48] Dolce Enderfield: Chickie Ashbourne, who is here with us tonight I believe...was just promoted not too long ago.
[18:48] Dolce Enderfield: The top models get selected first for photo shoots, runways, etc and get all new releases and a pay increase during their store modeling.
[18:48] Dolce Enderfield: But, that is just MLC.
[18:49] Dolce Enderfield: I cannot honestly speak about other stores and their practices, because I don't work there..
[18:49] Dolce Enderfield: But hopefully that gives you a bit more of an idea on store modeling.
[18:49] Dolce Enderfield: And the other category of store modeling, right quick, is being general customer service reps...
[18:50] Docseree Mistwalker: can i add something DOlce?
[18:50] Dolce Enderfield: You may or may not be a model, but you are generally wearing the clothes of that store and doing everything a model would and more.
[18:50] Dolce Enderfield: Of course, I am done. :)
[18:50] Docseree Mistwalker: I am the opposite of Mohna I am very flexible and Id rather have a new model than a veteran one.. because new models have the guts to stay at my runway and old models lacks time.
[18:50] Docseree Mistwalker: I had Glitter, Kat, Valeria, etc but all of them earns only 1- 5 L$ so you see they stay very short on the runway , but I love them all.
[18:50] Docseree Mistwalker: I need people in store to wear the product. New models are dedicated and persevering but old models are indespensable they give my store prestige if u know what i mean.
[18:50] Dolce Enderfield nods.
[18:51] Dolce Enderfield nods.
[18:51] Docseree Mistwalker: thats all :)
[18:51] Docseree Mistwalker shouts: thats all :)
[18:52] Dolce Enderfield: Ok...with alllll that being said, let's go ahead and open the floor to questions for about 5-10 minutes.
[18:52] Monica Balut: So besides the money and clothes you get to keep, why else would someone want to do this type of work?
[18:52] Docseree Mistwalker: :)
[18:52] Docseree Mistwalker shouts: :)
[18:52] Bronze Restful: for the experience
[18:53] Risa Bright: To get things you may not be able to afford otherwise
[18:53] Bronze Restful: to learn
[18:53] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Meeting people.
[18:53] Docseree Mistwalker: residents would rather earn as a model having a prestige attached to it rather than do camping chairs
[18:53] Dolce Enderfield: I don't do it. Mohna won't let me model in-store...but I do anyways...not actual modeling, but when it's slow, I'll go to the store and spin with the model working and keep them company.
[18:53] Myown Destiny: Can you please tell me how is the best way to apply for one of these positions?
[18:53] Dolce Enderfield: The best way...
[18:54] Dolce Enderfield: Is to look up the designers profile...and read it thoroughly..
[18:54] Monica Balut: I'm told that nany pple do this as a stepping stone to other modeling jobs
[18:54] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Helping costumers :}
[18:54] Docseree Mistwalker: true
[18:54] Dolce Enderfield: Most designers will have some sort of information in their profile...either in the about me or picks
[18:54] Myown Destiny: TY :)
[18:54] Dolce Enderfield: On applying for work at their store or who to contact.
[18:54] Docseree Mistwalker: yes you have to approach the right persons
[18:54] Caffinelover Selona: i do it because the owner of the store is going to have her models on the blogs, and maybe print
[18:54] Monica Balut: You could look up the want ads in search
[18:55] Docseree Mistwalker: the best way is to get in touch with fashion groups that sends out notices
[18:55] Monica Balut: I think Herra said she did that when she started
[18:55] Caffinelover Selona: true Seree
[18:55] Docseree Mistwalker: mhmmm
[18:55] Dolce Enderfield: ALWAYS make sure you try to contact the right person. If no one is listed as a contact for that designer or no info is given on modeling in the store...first, make sure they have models there, and then send a short, polite notecard to the designer asking how to go about applying for a modeling position if available.
[18:55] Docseree Mistwalker: chat lag again
[18:55] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Notices often go our through model groups also.
[18:56] Docseree Mistwalker: yes
[18:56] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Looking for store models.
[18:56] Myown Destiny: this is so very helpful!!
[18:56] Dolce Enderfield: Yes, keep yourself updated in the modeling groups.
[18:56] Meisha Verstandig: if anyone wants to try it crave is advertising for models
[18:56] Monica Balut: Remember to put that experience in your resume
[18:56] Dolce Enderfield: Speaking from my experience working with a designer and knowing what they go through....
[18:57] Monica Balut: good point Dolce
[18:57] Dolce Enderfield: If you are contacting the designer for info on modeling...make sure its in a notecard, make sure your message is easy to understand, even for those that don't speak great English...
[18:57] Docseree Mistwalker: if you want to instore model for me you have to join my contest.. for males I hire directly but currently we are filled up for females they have to be a monthly finalist of DMG Creative look of the month to have a 1 month store modeling contract
[18:57] Dolce Enderfield: Keep it short...include your full name at the end...do NOT send a resume or photos, etc over.
[18:58] Dolce Enderfield: Otherwise, your notecard will possibly get tossed away with the 20+ other notecards that a designer can receive a day.
[18:59] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Stores models are like families, much like and agency you may belong to :}
[18:59] Docseree Mistwalker: If you want to in store model for DMG Creations I can send you the NC on how to apply.. you need to become a finalist in DMG CREATIVE LOOK OF THE MONTH CONTEST To win a one month instore modeling contract
[18:59] Docseree Mistwalker shouts: If you want to in store model for DMG Creations I can send you the NC on how to apply.. you need to become a finalist in DMG CREATIVE LOOK OF THE MONTH CONTEST To win a one month instore modeling contract
[18:59] Dolce Enderfield nods.
[18:59] Monica Balut: And some pple work themselves up to being store managers.
[18:59] Caffinelover Selona: As i have seen when agency have a fashion show one model or two from the store have them walking the unway wit hthe gency that they hired to do their sow
[18:59] Docseree Mistwalker: yes true the most dedicated
[18:59] Caffinelover Selona whispers: show
[19:00] Dolce Enderfield: I first met Mohna in April, met her in store in June...did a chicken dance around one of her store bots the same night...
[19:00] Dolce Enderfield: And she still hired me.
[19:00] Monica Balut: Some stores do their own runway shows. Do the store models have a chance at that?
[19:00] Xenobia Foxclaw: LOL
[19:00] Docseree Mistwalker: yes
[19:01] Dolce Enderfield: But it was originally for model outsourcing, then I started doing marketing and customer service more on my own and now...I get paid very well to do it all.
[19:01] Docseree Mistwalker: they are the first on the list before casting is sent out
[19:01] Bearlyhere Quandry shouts: Yes many will choose from their store models first.
[19:01] Myown Destiny: I do please!
[19:01] Monica Balut: So this is an opportunity to get runway work
[19:01] Garrett Ceriano: Can anyone think of any stores that use Male Live Models? I can't at the moment...
[19:01] Docseree Mistwalker: I wanted to acknowledge one of my precious writers XENOBIA who sits quietly
[19:01] Dolce Enderfield: Yes, store models ...at least ours, are used in runway. In fact, we recently pulled out of an agency that was going to do our Fall show because they wouldn't let our store models in the show.
[19:02] Xenobia Foxclaw: Thank you, Seree
[19:02] Heydon Milter: JCNY. Mesh Carter has been a live model there forever.
[19:02] Docseree Mistwalker: DMG Creations has live male models
[19:02] Dolce Enderfield: Garrett, Mohna Lisa Couture needs male models.
[19:02] Dolce Enderfield shouts: Garrett, Mohna Lisa Couture needs male models.
[19:02] Caffinelover Selona: yes he has Heydon
[19:02] Heydon Milter: lol
[19:02] Garrett Ceriano: Awesome
[19:02] Dolce Enderfield: And to work at MLC...you don't have to join a contest, but you have to be in DEJAVOGUE, generally.
[19:02] Docseree Mistwalker: We have Mesh Carter, Barney Helendale, ChristianDavid so maybe u want to apply too :)
[19:03] Dolce Enderfield: As all of our models now come from there.
[19:03] Garrett Ceriano: I see
[19:03] Dolce Enderfield: Are there any other questions before we return the floor to Monica?
[19:03] Heydon Milter: I want to ask Seree a question.
[19:03] Blossoms Sweetwater: good for you Garrett =)
[19:04] Docseree Mistwalker: :)
[19:04] Garrett Ceriano: what happened? lol
[19:04] Caffinelover Selona: Hi Blossoms
[19:04] Dolce Enderfield: haha Garrett.
[19:04] Heydon Milter: From your pespective, Seree what impresses you more, runway experience or contest wins?
[19:04] Docseree Mistwalker: aside from doing runway all my models get to be in my magazine too :)
[19:04] Caffinelover Selona: good question heydon
[19:05] Pepper Aura: Can i get the contest notecard too please?
[19:06] Dolce Enderfield: Also, I'll throw out a bit of spam...Mohna Lisa Couture is looking for the next Ms. MLC 2011....grand prize winner can walk away with L$40,000 and all new releases for the year you reign. More info available through me or picking up the NC in the store. :P
[19:07] Dolce Enderfield: I think..judging by the silence here...

Floyd's Prodigy

Yesterday was one of the very few moments when I have a very little time to have fun, a break from Second Life work is what i neeeded once in a while. I still can't help to multitask though.

Floyd Mistwalker, my handsome and lovely cousin and the owner of the biggest low prim furniture in SL(PrimSavers) sent IM babbling about his schedule with my Magazine Photographer. He teleported at the back of my store wearing a gorean costume complete with shield and armor. I asked him if he is not busy to do an interview, he agreed but my backyard wasnt a good place for interviews so I suggested we go somewhere else like dancing or dining(he owes me dancing anyway, an activity we never had the time to do together eversince we met because we were both busy). Knowing Floyd who is always conscious about the way he looks makes me figure out what would his response be- "I'm not dressed for dancing but I can take you for a helicopter ride" It makes me sad knowing after more than a year we still haven't danced but oh well a heli ride isn't a bad idea either.

( The ride was fun but view-wise its all grey )

We went for a helicopter ride around his SIM (still in his gorean outfit). I shoot the first question " How can you describe Floyd Mistwalker in RL" and he replied " Can you give me time to answer that question? I need to think about it because you always ask complicated questions putting it in a notecard would be much better just like before". So I said ok i will put it in a notecard instead. We finished the helicopter ride, portion of the ride was rough there was a time I think we will hit the Primsavers Mainstore (lol) but he gave me a nice smooth landing.

(the 8,500L$ car)

(sorry i did not give justice to the wheels)

I wouldn't let the opportunity pass when Floyd have little time to have fun( believe me its very rare)without being able to ride his new luxury car "Prodigy". Of course he wouldnt ride his luxury car in a gorean costume (hahaha), he changed in his socially sporty look (brown leather jacket-one of my fave on him), fetched me in the helipad and drove me around SIM.

( we did not talk about the outfit- i guess looking good runs in the blood)

(who says you wouldnt be lucky if you will be tied to a Mistwalker?)

The car was amazingly fast and beautiful, we had few rounds until Floyd needed to attend to some RL Stuffs, he went afk and unlocked his car so I played with it opening/closing doors, opening closing roof, and changing tints ( I wonder if he noticed I changed the tint.

Thanks Floyd you are awesome!!!When will you buy a Ferrari?

ONE OF MY FAVE FALL OUTFIT

When I think of Fall the colors, yellow, orange and bright red comes to my mind. Living in a tropical country where there are no 4 seasons makes me just imagine. We only have wet and dry season and Fall falls into the wet season...so here is my choice. I did not wear the stockings but this outfit comes with a checkered stockings as a leg warmer. Pretty nice outfit for a free gift :)
